TENNIS FOR EVERYONE

Thornbury Lawn Tennis Club is a friendly, medium sized Club, established about 50 years ago.

The Club has excellent, modern facilities set in a lovely rural location, close to Thornbury town centre. Parking is convenient and free in the adjacent car park.

The facilities include a total of 6 well-maintained all-weather tennis courts.

The Club caters for a full range of ages from toddlers to pensioners and all abilities from complete beginners to tournament players.

The Club has over 200 members and is run on a not for profit basis by a Committee, elected by the members at an Annual General Meeting.

New members of all ages and abilities are always welcome.

Several of the Club’s talented juniors have been selected to be members of the County Junior Tennis Squad and have performed well in Regional Tournaments.

A comprehensive range of coaching activities at Thornbury Lawn Tennis Club is provided by JRWTennis.

Thornbury Lawn Tennis Club (TLTC) is an LTA Venue registered club. LTA venue registration ensures that the club meets registration standards set by the LTA, specifically in meeting six Safeguarding standards. TLTC places great importance on safeguarding the welfare of all our members and visitors to the club and following these standards helps to ensure a safe, accessible, enjoyable and welcoming environment is created for everyone who visits our club.

2024 OPEN DAY

Sunday 28th April 11am-3pm is Thornbury Tennis club open day! Our head coach James will be there to answer any Qs. Turn up and play, no need to sign up. 

Bring all the family! We have a bouncy castle, BBQ, face painting. 

2024 AGM

The Annual AGM will take place on Thursday 14th of March, at 7:30, in the clubhouse.  Members please attend.  Believe it or not, important stuff gets discussed.
