A group of our juniors compete regularly in tournaments across the country including Almondsbury, Lansdown, Cheltenham, Bridgewater, Newport, Cardiff, Burnham, Truro and Bournemouth. Some of the highlights in the important local County Closed events were:
Avon County Closed Tournament:
• Luke Johnson fought through to the under 12s semi-final after some great tennis in the quarter-final.
• Leo Lazarides made it through to the under 12s quarter-final and lost a closely fought match in the under 14s consolation semi-final.
• Susanna Ogden played some great tennis to make it through to the under 12s semi-final losing to the eventual champion.
Gloucestershire County Closed Tournament:
• Brooke Daunton narrowly lost in the under 12s semi-final but won the under 14s consolation final.
Luke Daniel, Harry Lucker, Kyle Broadley and Fenn Daunton all gained valuable experience in competitive junior tournaments.
