TENNIS players raised more than £500 for a children's charity during a tournament in Thornbury. The tournament, held at Thornbury Tennis Club on Sunday (September 27) raised £564.50 towards The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity. The Thornbury Tennis Club Juniors were hard at work this week competing at the Avon County Closed Championships. Well done to Brooke & Fenn Daunton, Leo Lazarides, Hamish Colquhoun and Luke (Scooby) Johnson. Brooke came 2nd in the 12&U Consolation final.
