The annual Cancer Research UK charity tennis tournament and lunch was held on 5th September and raised £480 for this worthy cause. There were 26 tennis players (including 5 players from Olveston & Tockington Tennis Club) with an additional 8 members who joined in for lunch. The event had two winners: Jane Clarke and Pam Cockwell. Despite the early morning rain, the event started at 10.00am with competitors playing four sets before lunch.
This year was the 18th Annual Tennis Tournament which altogether has raised a total of £7523.
