Approximately 70 members and their guests attended the Awards Evening held at Eastwood Park on 26th November. The evening included a meal, serious and fun awards and a disco where the young and the young at heart danced the night away. A big thank you to Linda, Gill & Sian for organising another great event.
• The Adult Ambassador Award is a result of a ballot of members and was awarded to Linda Mantle. She has worked tirelessly for the Club and has been an inspiration to others.
• The Most Improved Adult was presented to Adam Mann.
• The award for The Most Improved Junior was presented to Suzanna Ogden.
• The Men’s Player of the Year was Nick Mason. He has made a huge contribution, including competing successfully in his first season for the Men’s First Team.
• The Ladies Player of the Year was Sarah Hurley. She has won the Ladies Singles and Ladies Doubles for the last 3 years.
• Juniors competing in adult league matches for the first time in 2016. Leo Lazarides, Kyle Broadley, Suzanna Ogden, and a couple of others. The juniors are planning a change for next year!
