The grounds are beginning to show signs of Spring. The daffodils are looking splendid and the crocuses (donated by John Harbottle) are adding a splash of colour. Three silver birch trees have been planted. These were donated by Val Varey (in memory of her late husband, Dennis Semper) & Steve Wells (to mark 44 years as a member of the Club). The hedge between the Club and the Public Courts has been laid. During the next couple of weeks, the debris will be cleared and grass seed sown and the grounds will better than before they were disturbed by the sewage works.
